Thanks to the bravery of Ray and Landon...OK, mostly just Ray, the dead skunk hath been scoopéd and baggéd twice, yea thrice, and lay in its ignominious grave. It also hath begun to stinketh up the garage. Click below for the story and pictures.
If I've asked it once, I've asked it a thousand times. What do you do with the dead skunk in your back yard?
I got a call yesterday from Heidi who said: Syler, I think there's a dead skunk in our back yard. I was like: well who invited him? So when I got home, I was able to confirm the fact that yes, there is in fact a skunk curled up next to our sand box, near our patio. But we know that skunks are nocturnal, so we were hoping that it was perhaps sleeping very soundly, and that it would be gone in the morning. And you don't want to wake a sleeping skunk, right? Ellie and I wondered if maybe it was a prank dead skunk (the age old prank). Well we woke up this morning and it's still there and doesn't appear to be sleeping (which reminds me of the classic Monty Python sketch about dead parrots). So Ray and I are going to go see what we can do to about this deceased skunk. I'll let you know if we have any complications. Just planning on triple-bagging the thing, I think.
Sorry I didn't have a really profound Good Friday blog. But this is life, right?
